Reichen et Robert & Associés, projets 2004-2020 - Archibooks + Sautereau Éditeur

A snapshot of the last 17 years of Reichen et Robert & Associés’ practice, this book presents projects that, in the background, reflect the major shifts of our time: High Environmental Quality (HQE), the financial crisis, climate change, the imperative to conserve resources, and—more recently—the ambitions of no net land take and carbon neutrality, all of which have become new issues shaping the project.

Founded in 1973 by Bernard Reichen and Philippe Robert, the practice has continued to cultivate its founders’ forward-looking vision throughout its development, as evidenced by the 20 projects presented. Each forms a chapter in a shared story, revealing—between the lines—the evolution of working methods, design approaches and delivery. These 17 years trace the journey of a practice conceived as a “living organism”, able to adapt and contribute to shaping our society. Since 2021, its future has been taking shape through the merger with Carta Associés.
